Greg volunteered to make root beer for last week's pack meeting, and we had lots of dry ice left over. It was time for . . . dry ice experiments!
Did you know that if you put a small chunk of dry ice in a balloon and tie it, the gas will inflate the balloon?
And if you put dry ice in soapy water it makes a TON of bubbles?
This was the boys' favorite, though . . . the dry ice in warm colored water. Easy, and makes a really cool effect!
The boys said this was the most fun science lesson ever!
Greg also did something cool with dry ice and fruit, but he's going to post about that.
