Spring Fever

It's been raining like crazy this week. We've been apprehensively watching the puddles growing in our backyard remembering our flood we had three years ago. Luckily our home is still dry. The good news is all this rain is making everything green and the Texas wildflowers are blooming in nearly full force. Hopefully we'll have a picture or two soon.

Spencer is becoming our resident daredevil. He has discovered the ability to walk up walls and now it seems like we find him in the air whenever we come into the room.

Specner is also teaching Colin and any other friends who come over his technique, though none seem to get as high up.

Maria also looked outside this week and found Spencer purposefully playing upside down in our hammock:

With our new DVR, Maria has been recording every episode of "Clean Sweep." Watching them has inspired her to start working on decluttering and reworking the various rooms in our house. She attacked the kids' room this weekend helping them pare down their piles of toys into something much more manageable. Now their room looks wonderful, but the rest of the house is full of all the excess toys waiting for a yard sale (hopefully this weekend). Unfortunately, housework takes its toll, and she's exhausted!

Oh great. Is that what I have to look forward to with 2 boys? Terrific! LOL! That upside down picture in the hammock is hilarious!
