On Friday (May 18th) Colin had a "Field Day" at his school. Maria volunteered us to go and help out for the morning. Field Day was for all the Kindergarten kids at the school and consisted of ten or so different outdoor activities where they divided up the kids into groups and rotated them around to the different stations to play a variety of games. Some of them included sack races, chalk drawing, and water noodle golf.
Maria brought an egg carrying game and she manned that station. Here's Colin's friend Robbie and some others playing that game.
I volunteered/was assigned face painting. Despite being an artist, I had never actually face painted before. Luckily it wasn't too much of a challenge for my first attempt since we were just painting paws on the kids' faces or hands. Here I am painting a red paw on Colin.
After the field day was over we picked up Spencer from his friends and brought some Happy Meals to the cafeteria to eat together as a family. It was a lot of fun.
