Scarborough Faire Part 2

This post is continued from my previous one.

After lunch at the Faire we wandered around to visit the different shops and see the different sites. We passed by several other shows that we stopped to watch occasionally.

We went past a giant Water Dragon that loved to spit at the audience:

Our favorite show of the day was a particularly funny Mime. For most people funny and mime don't usually go together, but he had the whole family laughing and was one of the few acts where we actually left a tip at the end.

We went by a booth that was selling "safe swords" which were foam padded batons you could duel with. Colin & Spencer went to town on each other and luckily were still smiling at the end.

Half of the fun of Scarborough Faire is just the people watching. About half the people there are dressed in costume and it's fun to see all the different outfits. I'll finish this post with a picture from the daily costume parade. Remember, the theme for the day was "pirates."
