With the imminent death of our Plymouth Grand Voyager minivan, we needed a new car. So Maria did some researching and contacted a few vendors. I took the Friday before Presidents' Day weekend off so we could go do some test driving and hopefully find a nice holiday sale priced vehicle to bring home.
The first vehicle we drove was the Mazda 5. It was the right price but our only hesitation before trying it out was that it was smaller than our previous van. After testing it out, we decided that the loss of space, while sad, was more than made up for in price and gas mileage. So we brought it home with us.
Here are a couple shots of the interior. We actually had them add leather seats after trying the deluxe version of the vehicle and finding the seats more comfortable than the default seen in the pictures below.

We got a 10 years warranty on the vehicle so hopefully this will get us through most of the boys' high school. At that point we may not even need a van any more.
Welcome to the family, Mazda 5. Although we need to find a name for you since our other car is already called the Mazda.

This is the first time I have seen your blog. It is quite nice. I like the work box idea. I may have to adapt it for our family.
