We have two cats, but you'd really never know it from looking at our pictures. Catalina is the cat we got for Spencer's 6th birthday (that had three litters of kittens before we managed to whisk her to the vet in time), and she seems to view us as accessories in the house she gets food in.
Spot is a kitten from the first litter Catalina had. We thought they'd be good company for each other, but they ended up hating each other and get in frequent fights. (sigh.) Spot is a big cuddle-bug, and believes that her rightful place at night is on the boy's bunkbed. (She also believes that my office chair, our kitchen chairs, our windowsill, and the middle of our rug are her rightful place . . . but I digress.) She purrs so loudly when the boys pet her that you can hear her across the room.
