Another month has gone by already! Since his 7-month update, Jaden has gotten a couple more new teeth, started crawling in earnest (finally venturing past the living room!), began to pull to a stand (we hurriedly put the crib mattress lower), learned how to open drawers (oh no!), and has developed this interesting trill sound that he likes to do a lot, along with babbling and blowing raspberries. He is just full of personality and loves everyone. Here are some pictures:

Colin was making silly faces at Jaden to get him to smile, so Jaden made one back. I don't know how he makes his tongue do that!
Jaden LOVES peek-a-boo (this quilt was blown over him by the wind, but he got a big grin like we were playing a game). If we drop a blanket over him, he'll stop wiggling and hold absolutely still for a minute, then yank it off, then grin and wiggle and wait for it to happen again. It's so cute!
Jaden loves to chew on just about anything, especially things he instinctively knows he shouldn't have (remotes, iPhones, etc.). We're still waiting on his top right tooth to come in - he's been having a rough few nights!
This is a sight we see a lot of these days - Jaden crawling away!
